If brunch isn’t already great, get ready to add puppies. (Thinkstock)
If there are two things Denver loves more than brunch and dogs, we’re not sure we know what they are.
On Sunday, April 29, Hotel Teatro will bring the two together when it is awash in adorable puppies, just in time for brunch. The dogs will be from the Colorado-based no-kill shelter Lifeline Puppy Rescue and yes, they will be up for adoption.
From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., guests of the pet-friendly hotel and the puppy-loving public are invited to enjoy puppy play time for a suggested donation of $5 or more.
The donations all go toward the shelter’s mission: to rescue puppies six months old or younger and place them in good homes. Since 1993, Lifeline has adopted almost 32,000 puppies in Colorado and other states. Guests who contribute the suggested donation are invited to enjoy a complimentary mimosa at The Nickel and are welcome to stay for brunch.
Menu items include steak and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and eggs Benedict. Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day (April 30): To go home full and with a new pet.
